August Pack Preparation

Kick off the year by assembling the information packages mailed to parents of each student. Time required: 3-4 hours on one day in the first week of August. A fun group activity. Approx. 20 volunteers needed.

Fees and Forms Day

Staff the forms turn-in stations on August 17 and 19, 2010, when students and parents turn in required forms prior to start of school. Two shifts: 8-11 a.m. and 12-2:30 p.m.

Photo Days

Assist with forms and organizing students on Photo Days (August 17 and 19), plus two days for additional students and re-takes on September 3 and October 8.

Student Schedules

Hand out student schedules on the first two days of Fall semester (Sept. 1 and 2, 2010) and the first day of Winter semester (Jan. 3, 2011) from 7-7:50 a.m. Approx. 20 –24 volunteers needed each day.

Back to School Social

Volunteers plan and staff the back to school event open to all RJH families. This is an early evening event held in September (date to be determined).
