Redmond Junior High –

Family Math Night

“Where Literature and Math Collide”

Please join us for the 7th annual RJH Family Math Night on Tuesday, February 7th from 6:30 – 8:30 pm.

The evening will have fun math activities inspired by children’s literature. It is a great opportunity to have some family time and to see math in a whole different way. At the end of the evening, you can win great prizes donated by local merchants.

Additionally, this year we are joined by University Book Store, who will be having a book fair. They will be open on the math night evening from 5:30 – 8:30 pm so please be sure to check them out! (25% of proceeds with flyer will go back to Redmond Junior High)

WA State PTA Call to Action -

The House Education Committee is considering a bill, HB 2411, that would abandon the 24-credit college and career diploma promised in the Program of Basic Education. The state instead would provide for 18 credits in high school.

Washington State PTA strongly opposes this!  Read more >>

Vacation / Activities Pre-Arranged Absence

RJH’s Student/Parent Long Term Absence Agreement requests should be submitted to the Attendance Office at least (10) days in advance of such an absence. It should be understood that some schoolwork is difficult to duplicate away from class and such absences may affect a student’s grade. Any questions, please call Patty Doherty, RJH Attendance at 425-936-2440.

Reminder: RJH – Safe Arrival phone number is 425-936-2441.
